fast times on Roesner lane...

I don't think I have ever been so ready for summer in my entire life! I am ready to sleep (as late as Cash will let me), do nothing, and enjoy my little family as much as I can. It seems like we have been running, running, running since Cash man was born. With tball season half way over and school ending in about 4 weeks, I am trying to remember where I left my brain. (If you guys find it, please send it to me!!) This is the busiest time of the year at school with all the programs and end of the year testing and all that fun stuff. But, we have got to enjoy some fun time with the boys and that is what matters. Crawford has his spring show coming up and I just registered him for (Oh my goodness) Kindergarten!!!! I think I may have a nervous breakdown next August 22nd. I can't believe my baby is that big. We have an exciting summer of swim lessons, beach vacations, and a trip to D.C. with daddy planned. Stay tuned for more crazy fun on Roesner lane. :)

Tball is here...

When I found out I was having a boy (when I was pregnant with Crawford), the very first thing that crossed my mind was...yay, I get to be a tball mom. If you know my family, you know why this excited me so much. I LOVE BASEBALL! Really, all sports, but this is the one I have been waiting for. And, thankfully, my sweet little man loves it as much as I do. It is alot of work, man...alot of work. We have practice and two games a week. But, it is definitely worth it to see the smile Crawford gets on his face getting ready for his game or practice. I love that he loves it so much. And, I dont mind giving up my Saturdays for the next two months at all.

Daddy's Away

Well, it is that time of year again. The time when Jason packs up his guns and heads to New Mexico for his law enforcement refresher. This year, there was an up side. He was here for Craw's bday. Yay. But, there is also a downside. Daddy is gone for three weeks. BOO! And there are tball games to be played and a growing little man going from 2 mos to 3 mos while daddy is gone. BOO! He is headed from NM to AZ, then back to NM. I am not going to complain, because at least he has a job and its one he loves!! Last weekend, we went to see Lolly and Grumps and as you can see from the pics above, there is never a dull moment there. Crawford is sporting a sombrero that spends its time at my parents friends party barn/shop and Cash had to get on the Harley. :) He thought that was fun. We had fun and there will be many more pictures coming since Tball starts tonight. WOOHOO!!!

Cash Christening

Cash after his Christening

The Important people in Cash's life :)

On Saturday, we had Cash christened at our Church here in Marshall. (St. Joseph's Catholic Church). We have been attending here since we moved to Marshall 3 years ago and we love it. The priest is very personable and loves kiddos, so it makes it fun for Crawford also. Cash screamed through the entire christening ceremony, but was a happy camper as soon as it was over. (Imagine that!!) It was a beautiful ceremony and was followed up by a great dinner with friends and family helping us celebrate his new birth in Christ.

Crawford and Cash...#1

I am one blessed mama. Right now, Crawford thinks it is so cool being a big brother. He loves to hold Cash all by himself and loves to kiss his head. They spend lots of time on the couch together speaking some kinda brother language. Crawford is a big help getting his seat buckled and the swing buckled. He loves his baby brother "Cashie" and doesn't like it at all when he cries. (He will come get me and say mommy, its time for you to feed Cashie your booby, he's screaming.) I hope and pray they stay as close as they are now (when they have no choice.) But for now, I am loving these little moments.

Ash Wednesday 2012

Growing up, I was not Catholic, so I really did not understand the entirety of Ash Wednesday and what it represented. Now that I am Catholic, I can't imagine not sharing it with my kids. So, even though there were what seemed like 10,000 people at mass, we took the boys (stayed in the cry room) and got our Ash's for this years Lenten season. It was so awesome and a great feeling to see all of my boys with their ash's. Even baby Cash got to participate. He slept through the entire thing. I hope that this is something that they will remember forever as part of Easter when they grow up and have their own families.

6 Weeks

Sweet baby Cash at 6 weeks. This is pretty much life. Eat, Sleep, Poop, Sleep, Eat. He loves to lay on the couch. I guess it is really soft and he feels comfy on it because that is where I slept when I was pregnant those last couple of weeks.
