Tuesday's with Crawford #14-Crazy Scary!!!
This week, no pictures, and not alot of words, just PRAISE TO GOD!! After a great anniversary weekend with my two favorite boys (spent in Shreveport), we were just minutes in our front door when Crawford came to me spitting saying "nasty." Well, I jumped off the couch to see what was "nasty" and on the counter was Jason's blood pressure pills, OPENED!!! So, Jason put Crawford under one arm, and the rest is a blur to me until I had to witness my poor little 3 year old child in a papoose, strapped down with only his head out, being held down, getting his stomach pumped...through his nose!! Yah, there's a visual for you huh?!? After pumping my helpless childs stomach for more than 30 minutes, they put charcoal down him in hopes that it would pass through his system and get the rest of the poison out. So, we stayed overnight and after his pedi came in and checked on him, a call to poison control, and one very scared mommy and daddy, we got to go home. He is back to his normal self now, running and jumping and playing. Having tons of fun, being a boy. And, yes....all medicine/first aid/anything he could get into...is now in a locked box in a locked cabinet. Let me be the first to say...Jason had NOT been careless with his medicine laying around. It was out of reach, but the little toot got on a chair from the dining room and pulled it down and got the childproof cap off. So, noone is at fault, just praising GOD that Cman is okay and back to himself.

Omaha and the College World Series
Last weekend, we got to experience an once and a lifetime event. We loaded up and headed to the College World Series in Omaha, NE. It was a quick trip, well worth the drive. We are so excited that we were invited to go watch cousin Aaron play in the College World Series for TCU. Friday night was the CWS opening ceremonies where they did the best firework show I have ever seen. Then we headed back to the condo to sleep and get up early the next day to head to the game. TCU vs. FSU. After a long walk to Rosenblatt Stadium and getting into the game, we were at our wonderful seats and ready for the game. After a scary first inning, the TCU Frogs battled back for an 8-1 defeat. It was so awesome getting to experience this and Crawford was in heaven and we can't wait to remind him of it year after year. This is the last year at the historical Rosenblatt Stadium, so it was a great year to get to go. There were tons of people, and the weather was wishy washy, but, it (again) was SO worth it!!

Tuesdays with Crawford #13...Keeping Up with Cman...

...IS HARD TO DO!!! Hey guys! Lately, we have been what seems like around the world and back again, but loving every minute of it. (Well, around the world to us is across Texas, but hey...Texas is a big state!) We are having a busy summer so far and yes, its only been summer for two weeks. But, with birthdays, holidays, and graduations, it has been a busy couple of weeks already. We have gotten to have time with lots of our family and friends and will be doing lots more throughout the summer. Speaking of traveling cross country...tomorrow we will be loading up and heading to Omaha, Ne for the college world series! Yes, I said Nebraska, but it's a once and a lifetime opportunity and we are so excited to be invited. Jason's cousin Aaron, who plays for TCU, will be playing his first game on Saturday, so we are going to drive up and see it, and then drive back. Crazy, yes...but, again...once and a lifetime!! I am running behind on putting pictures up, but will add bunches after this weekend I am sure. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day as we are having a great...Tuesday with Crawford.

Tuesday's with Crawford #12
Hello again Crawford Lovers! Hope you are all having a wonderfully hot week! (Well, we are so had to wish it on you guys also) This Tuesday Crawford has been busy again. I know, when do we ever stop?!? Well, you guessed it, not any time soon since the summer has officially started. We have been to Brooks' 1st Birthday (can you believe it?!) and this past weekend we traveled to Ft. Worth again to watch TCU take their Regional tournament to move on to next weekends superregional in Austin. While we were in Ft. Worth, we took a trip to the zoo and, even though it was 1000 degrees outside (or felt like it anyway), we had fun. Crawford loved the animals. He even called his mommy and daddy a hippo. (Can we say diets anyone?!?) Aunt Donna and Uncle Russell got roped into going with us, so they helped entertain Crawford while we all swigged down gatorade and water. Crawford thought he was extra special because he got another ball from cousin Aaron and got it signed by 5 of the players on the baseball team. It is now on the shelf with the other ball from last time we went. He also got "all frogged up" with a new TCU hat and a new TCU purple shirt so he can show his support. Of course, if the Aggies win today, then he will have to wear his Aggie hat and Horned Frog shirt or vice versa when they play each other next weekend. Speaking of weekends, we are headed for Magnolia on Friday night for Brittany's graduation party on Saturday. Man, I must be getting old, I swear she was in diapers when Jason and I started dating. Crazy how fast time goes by. As for Crawford, he is busy loving mommy being home a few days a week right now since I am only working two days at the law firm, I keep him home with me on the others. He is a bundle of boy and has recently taken up "bodyslamming" his daddy. Apparently, he was watching the big boys at the swimming pool when we were at my grandma's a couple of weeks ago. He loves playing in the dirt in the backyard and helping Jason water the yard and flowers everynight. Jason has been busy at work and started with a 5 new youth summer workers this week. He is not signed up to go work at the Gulf yet, but everytime I watch the news and see one of those poor little birds, it breaks my heart and I wish he could go help. I will be adding the pictures from our latest adventures later today, so hope you all enjoy your Tuesday with Crawford.

Tuesdays with Crawford #11

These are a few more pictures of Crawford to get me half way caught back up. The baseball ones are from our trip to Fort Worth to watch Aaron play baseball at TCU. Crawford was so impressed and is Aaron's newest biggest fan. He has a signed ball by Aaron that the pitcher gave him during batting/field practice. The horse pictures are from Mother's day weekend when we ate at Grandma Libby's. He loved "Buck" and can't wait to ride a horse again. The swings picture is a four generation picture with Crawford, Jason, Poppy and Granny Roesner. Pretty cool that they are all young enough to enjoy each other!! Hope you guys are all having a great week!

Tuesday's with Crawford #10
I know, I am so far behind, this should be Friday's with Crawford instead of Tuesdays, but I have good reason!! Our computer has officially bit the dust and we are in the process of shopping to get a new one and also get DSL installed at the house. I currently have a wireless card, but its not near as fast as it needs to be, so we are going to get DSL, which we should have kept in the first place. So, as soon as this is taken care of, I will be back up and at 'em with lots of pictures and things of the sweet man. He did just have his 3 year check-up (let's just say we have a way busy pediatrician and unless your child is sick, you have to wait three months for check-ups). The doctor told Jason that if he was to see a snapshot of a three year old and what it needs to look like, it would be Crawford. Of course, we all new that already didn't we?!? So, I promise new pictures up soon and new posts more often as soon as this technology advanced world slows down!! Hope you are all having a great Tuesday with Crawford!!
