Christmas Pics

This year, I decided that I would get some good Christmas pictures of the boys and send the out on a Christmas card (which I promise myself to do every year, I even get as far as getting the home, then forget or get to busy to send them out.) So, off to Miss Kirbie's we go. I know she can always get the best smiles out of my boys. They love her. So, we took some at her house in her studio she had set up and they turned out great!!

Soccer 2012

This was Crawford's second year of soccer. Last year, we were on a team of mostly Trinity kiddos and had Trinity parents as the coaches, so we felt at home. When we went to the firt practice this year, and saw that the team was nothing like last years, I was worried. So worried, I wanted to pull him off the field and say better luck next year kiddo. Against my better judgement and a lecture from Officer Roesner, we decided to let him play. We started off the season like the Bad  News Bears, but towards the end of the season, they looked like a team. Crawford scored four goals in his next to the last game and one in the last game of the season. He made new friends and never seemed to care that he was not on a team filled with Trinity kiddos. He really seems to like soccer and is pretty darn good at it (if I must say so myself), and I am sure we will be back for more next year. Now, on to basketball....yikes!!

Boston, Mass

Jason and I are slowly but surely checking off our 50 state challenge. We recently went to Boston for a weekend of Red Sox and history. It was AMAZING!!! We absolutely loved it. The weather kinda was a mess, but we survived. I missed the kiddos and felt a little guilty sitting at the Red Sox game without Craw man, but it was nice to spend some time with Jason since hutning season has officially started. We got to attend two Red Sox games, go to most of the historical things around Boston, shop and, of course, EAT!! We even went to the "Cheers" restraunt where they had all the things from the show.

 At the Red Sox game
 Fenway Park...awesome
The first night in Boston, we just walked up and bought tickets to the game, so cool!!

From the Catholic Church we went in and toured, it was absolutely gorgeous and the stations of the cross were in color, so beautiful!!

Crawford goes to Kindergarten

Oh my goodness, can it already be here? Seems like we just brought home my sweet little man from the hospital and he is in KINDERGARTEN!! This is crazy!!!!! The good thing about this is...he has an awesome teacher. We are blessed with Mrs. Simpson this year and I could not be happier. She is great and Crawford loves her. He is not too crazy about the homework that he has, but he loves swimming time and Chapel. He calls it "big kid chapel."

fast times on Roesner lane...

I don't think I have ever been so ready for summer in my entire life! I am ready to sleep (as late as Cash will let me), do nothing, and enjoy my little family as much as I can. It seems like we have been running, running, running since Cash man was born. With tball season half way over and school ending in about 4 weeks, I am trying to remember where I left my brain. (If you guys find it, please send it to me!!) This is the busiest time of the year at school with all the programs and end of the year testing and all that fun stuff. But, we have got to enjoy some fun time with the boys and that is what matters. Crawford has his spring show coming up and I just registered him for (Oh my goodness) Kindergarten!!!! I think I may have a nervous breakdown next August 22nd. I can't believe my baby is that big. We have an exciting summer of swim lessons, beach vacations, and a trip to D.C. with daddy planned. Stay tuned for more crazy fun on Roesner lane. :)

Tball is here...

When I found out I was having a boy (when I was pregnant with Crawford), the very first thing that crossed my mind was...yay, I get to be a tball mom. If you know my family, you know why this excited me so much. I LOVE BASEBALL! Really, all sports, but this is the one I have been waiting for. And, thankfully, my sweet little man loves it as much as I do. It is alot of work, man...alot of work. We have practice and two games a week. But, it is definitely worth it to see the smile Crawford gets on his face getting ready for his game or practice. I love that he loves it so much. And, I dont mind giving up my Saturdays for the next two months at all.

Daddy's Away

Well, it is that time of year again. The time when Jason packs up his guns and heads to New Mexico for his law enforcement refresher. This year, there was an up side. He was here for Craw's bday. Yay. But, there is also a downside. Daddy is gone for three weeks. BOO! And there are tball games to be played and a growing little man going from 2 mos to 3 mos while daddy is gone. BOO! He is headed from NM to AZ, then back to NM. I am not going to complain, because at least he has a job and its one he loves!! Last weekend, we went to see Lolly and Grumps and as you can see from the pics above, there is never a dull moment there. Crawford is sporting a sombrero that spends its time at my parents friends party barn/shop and Cash had to get on the Harley. :) He thought that was fun. We had fun and there will be many more pictures coming since Tball starts tonight. WOOHOO!!!

Cash Christening

Cash after his Christening

Cousin/Aunt Dee Dee and Cash

Dallas and Crawford showing their muscles off

The Important people in Cash's life :)

On Saturday, we had Cash christened at our Church here in Marshall. (St. Joseph's Catholic Church). We have been attending here since we moved to Marshall 3 years ago and we love it. The priest is very personable and loves kiddos, so it makes it fun for Crawford also. Cash screamed through the entire christening ceremony, but was a happy camper as soon as it was over. (Imagine that!!) It was a beautiful ceremony and was followed up by a great dinner with friends and family helping us celebrate his new birth in Christ.

Crawford and Cash...#1

I am one blessed mama. Right now, Crawford thinks it is so cool being a big brother. He loves to hold Cash all by himself and loves to kiss his head. They spend lots of time on the couch together speaking some kinda brother language. Crawford is a big help getting his seat buckled and the swing buckled. He loves his baby brother "Cashie" and doesn't like it at all when he cries. (He will come get me and say mommy, its time for you to feed Cashie your booby, he's screaming.) I hope and pray they stay as close as they are now (when they have no choice.) But for now, I am loving these little moments.

Ash Wednesday 2012

Growing up, I was not Catholic, so I really did not understand the entirety of Ash Wednesday and what it represented. Now that I am Catholic, I can't imagine not sharing it with my kids. So, even though there were what seemed like 10,000 people at mass, we took the boys (stayed in the cry room) and got our Ash's for this years Lenten season. It was so awesome and a great feeling to see all of my boys with their ash's. Even baby Cash got to participate. He slept through the entire thing. I hope that this is something that they will remember forever as part of Easter when they grow up and have their own families.

6 Weeks

Sweet baby Cash at 6 weeks. This is pretty much life. Eat, Sleep, Poop, Sleep, Eat. He loves to lay on the couch. I guess it is really soft and he feels comfy on it because that is where I slept when I was pregnant those last couple of weeks.

Grandparents Day 2012

Last Friday was Grandparents Day at Trinity. Since all of the Grandparents will be in this weekend, they were not able to make it last weekend. That did not stop my big Cman from being front row center and singing his heart out. He did so good. I am going to miss him next year when he heads to the "big school!"

Newborn Pics

Crawford and Cash...Cash was kinda tired by this time

A little Aggie Already

Sweet baby boy

These are a few of our pictures from Mr. Cash's newborn shoot. He was not wanting to cooperate at either of the two shoots, so we didn't get to get too many pictures. He is still the cutest 5 week old I know. :) Big brother Crawford thought this was awesome and wanted to partake in the shoot, so we had to make his pics black and white because he had on t.u. orange. YUK!! Thank you Ms. Kirbie Lynn for the wonderful pics!!
