Weekend with The Roesner's

This past weekend, Grammy, Poppy and Uncle Daniel came and stayed at our new house. They had the important part of Cman's room, his beds. Crawford now has a place to sleep, now whether he has slept in them yet, that is another story. We had lots of fun, and Poppy helped get everything out of the storage room, (whew) and move the icebox, and I am sure other things I am leaving out. We got to sit out by the fire on the back porch and enjoy a fire that Uncle Daniel made in the fire pit. The weather Friday was beautiful. Saturday it was kinda nasty outside, so we didnt do much outside playing. We did alot of inside things. Crawford didnt care, he was glad to have all the attention on him. It was a great time had by all and we look forward to many more visits in our new home.

Cman's New Toy

For Christmas, Grammy and Poppy bought Crawford a pitching machine. (Yes, a pitching machine.) I am trying to learn how to upload videos to the blog, but for now, I will just tell you, he is soooooo excited to get home everyday and play baseball. I made Jason take the first few pitches because I wanted to see how fast the ball would come out. It comes with an armband that you put on and can choose your pitch. Jason chose "changeup" for his first pitch and the ball came barrelling out at him and buzzed his head. It was hilarious. So, we made Cman put on his helmet and put the pitch on "grounder" so it would be low. Well, thank goodness he had his helmet on because it nailed him in the forehead. And yes, that is the one I have on video, but I cant get it to lad. I will keep trying to get this loaded, until then, just imagine it. I am laughing right now!

Bringing in 2010

For New Year's Eve we headed to Magnolia to have New Year's and our Christmas with Jason's family. When we got there, we had a great dinner, opened Christmas gifts, and then went out to pop fireworks. Well, Jason, Daniel, Walter, Brittany and Crawford popped firecrackers while Katy, Liz and I watched on. New Year's day, more of the family came by and we partied in the barn. We ate and played games (the charades game...too funny) and caught up with one antoher. Then we went in the house to play some dominoes and Grammy and Crawford tried to put together a gingerbread house. It was loads of fun and a great weekend.
