Tuesdays with Crawford #7

For our new house, we got a rose bush from the Roesner's and Cman helped us plant and water it. He also got to pick something, ANYTHING, from Wal-mart out for going all day in his big boy underwear and he picked out a beta. Now we have a beta, named fish. Suzee is a little jealous. We have made it Crawford's responsibility to feed it every morning and at night. He loves to watch it. It's home for now is on the kitchen counter by the sink so it can get sunlight. This Tuesday Crawford is all about being responsible. He is completely potty trained (cross your fingers) and is having lots of fun playing outside in the backyard every afternoon when we get home basically until it gets dark. Jason is having fun in the yard too. Mowing, weedeating, watering plants, cleaning sticks off of the roof. I think he is really enjoying the house. This weekend, we are headed to Houston for Easter. So more pics to come next week. Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday with Crawford!

Cousins for Life

This picture was just too cute not to share with everyone. Friday night we made a mad dash to Van so we could go and watch my brother's baseball team and so Asher and Cman could play together for a little while. We picked Asher up from daycare and headed to Lolly and Grumps for some playtime in the beautiful weather. The boys played on the swingset, played soccer, rode the 4 wheeler (kawasaki power wheels...no freaking out people!!!), played inside on the stairs and in the playroom and just lounged around and watched some tv. Then we headed to the baseball game and the boys had to of course be dressed like baseball players. So, Asher and Cman were all dolled up in their baseball pants, shirts and helments. It is so much fun watching these boys play together. I know they are cousins by birth, but I also know they are going to be best friends for life. I am so thankful they are so close together in age and can enjoy playing with each other. God bless us all when they turn 15!!

Tuesdays With Crawford #6

My little Brad Paisley, George Strait, Toby Keith, Kenney Chesney!!Crawford and his guitar

Technically, it's supposed to be #7, but I missed last week! (Sorry Mrs. Sherry!) Crawford had a great birthday party (see last post) and is off to a new start playing with all of his new toys from his birthday. He has been wearing me and Jason out playing soccer and baseball. But, right now, his favorite thing to do is sit down and put on a concert for me, Jason and Suzee. He will pull up his chair (in front of the TV so we can't watch) and get the microphone, his cowboy hat and his guitar and get after it. Yesterday to school he wore his levis, new boots, his fishing hat, and a baseball shirt. So when we got home, he took off his fishing hat and put on his cowboy hat and the concert started. It lasted all of 5 minutes, then it was time for soccer and baseball and running with Suzee. I can't wait to see what he decides to be when he grows up. (Not that I want him to grow up!!) He is sooooo much fun to be around and is constantly entertaining. Hope we get to share him with you all much and often!

Well, we are over half way through March and rolling right along with 2010. This past weekend, we had Crawford's third birthday party at our house. It was great, despite the temperature dropping like crazy the two hours everyone was at our house. It was nice to have almost everyone together. We had a great crowd. Daddy (Grumps) could not make it in from work and Granny Roesner has an infected toe, but other than that, the crew was there. We had lots and lots of fun. The kids got to play inside and outside and around and around and in and out. Crawford got loads of gifts that he has strewn throughout the house in various places already and we are in the process of switching around toys, clothes, books and all that since he is getting so big. He got a soccer goal and ball, gator golf, a real guitar, a real baseball uniform, new boots and cowboy hat, fishing equipment, hot wheels and lots more. Thank you everyone that came and spent the time with us. It was fun!

I'm Falling behind!!

Hey! For all three of you that actually look at this blog every now and then, sorry...I have fallen behind this week. Crawford has been sick...AGAIN! This time with a hugely, terrible, make you wanna cry cold. Yesterday, Jason finally took him to the doctor, (we kept thinking it would pass), and they put him on some heavy steroids and chest medicine. He seems to be doing better already and has actually been at daycare all day today so far. He can't go to daycare with a fever, so Jason and I have been splitting days of work. He watched C in the morning and I headed home after lunch. I haven't even had the camera out since this past weekend, and I havent even loaded those pictures on yet. We are going to have his birthday party at our house this weekend and that has put me into crazy mode. Here I thought we had gotten really settled in and I start looking around at the bare walls and empty shelves and think to myself, I have really fallen behind. So...I promise to keep back up on the " Tuesdays with Crawford" updates and more pictures. I will have alot after this weekend of his birthday party. We hope to have lots of fun. As for the little man, pray he starts feeling better and is back to himself soon. Also, prayers for Daddy (my daddy) to get back to a job at home! Plus, my great uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer and my dear friend from Lufkin's mom that I have emailed about has taked a turn for the worse with her cancer. So, please...keep all these people in your prayers!!

Tuesday's with Crawford #5

Birthday boy before Daycare...
The picture is dark, the restraunt is dark...but this is him with one of his cakes

Just for you Mrs. Sherry!!! Yes, it is Thursday and I missed a posting of Tuesday's with Crawford. So, I am making up for it now. Yesterday was Crawford's third birthday. I started the day crying like a baby because number 1: he is three, number 2: his daddy is out of town and would not be able to celebrate and number 3: he is growing up way to fast. I had no idea that time would go so fast when I found out in July of 2006 that I was pregnant. (Thanks Josh and Misty for your wedding...found out shortly there after!!) Yesterday, Crawford got to take cupcakes to his daycare class. He was so excited, we stayed up late Tuesday night making goodie bags for his 8 little classmates. Silly me, was feeling sorry for the poor kid since his daddy is out of town...what was I thinking?!? This child had three phone calls before 9 am to our house phone with birthday messages and tons of 'Happy Birthday's' on mommy's facebook page. (Thanks again everyone!) Then, last night was dinner with our adopted family...Mr. Mark, Mrs. Sherry, Uncle John, Mrs. Kay, Caleb and Josh. These people are our adopted family that have taken Jason, Crawford and I in over and over and over again. We love you guys!!! Crawford thinks he is in hog heaven when he is with Caleb and Josh, and I think they are pretty fond of him also. We went to Cafe Italia to eat because Cman wanted spaghetti. And boy did he eat some spaghetti. When we finished eating, he got to talk to Grammy, Poppy, Uncle Daniel, Aunt Holly, Uncle JJ, Ellie, and Asher and also Lolly and Grumps. He really had a great day. He rounded it out with the 7th phone call for the day from his daddy :) and all was good. Thank you all for the wishes and helping us make it special. He still has his big baseball party next weekend so there will be lots more fun to have. I will be posting pictures as soon as I get them loaded.

Happy 3rd Birthday to my Big Boy!

Three years ago today was one fof the scariest, craziest, and best days of my life because of you my little man!!! Happy Birthday to my Crawford who brings me nothing but smiles and joy all day long, every single day. Three years ago, I was wondering who you would look like, praying that you had your daddy's big blue eyes, which you do and wondering if you were going to have mommy's fingers and toes, which you dont!! I want you to know, you light up so many of our world's! You are the reason daddy and mommy were put on this earth! To love you and teach you right from wrong and all about Jesus. I hope you know how special you are to us all! Have a great birthday sweet boy!! Love, Mommy and Daddy and everyone else!!

Let's go ride a bike...it's sunny outside and warm!!

This Tuesday, Crawford, Mommy and Daddy are very tired. We have been so busy, it seems like we are passing each other in the night. But, not before some much needed family and sunshine time together this past weekend. Friday afternoon, it was cold and rainy, so we played in the house. Saturday, Jason had to work, so Crawford and I headed to Van for some playtime with Asher and some Vandal Baseball. It was nice being able to visit with Holly, Ellie, Asher and Brooks...and Grumps was actually in town also. Sunday morning was great, we went to church with mom and dad and listened to Grumps play in the praise band. Then we headed back here to play with Daddy and Suzee in the sunshine. We are almost completely settled in the house. We are having so much fun getting different things together in different rooms, piece by piece. Now we have Crawford's room almost complete, just missing pillows for his bed (I haven't decided what color for sure) and we still have to get out of the other storage room in Van. I can't even begin to remember what it has in it except the guest bedroom furniture suit. We have begin hanging pictures on the walls, so it is definitely feeling like home now. Crawford's turning three next week and Jason will be leaving for New Mexico again for more training, so it's going to be another busy week. Here are some pictures from the past week. Enjoy!
