day 6

Person I would like to trade places with...
Like everyone else has said, I really like my life and would not really trade it. But if I had to, I would pick Reba McIntire. I would love to be able to be that sassy red head who can belt out songs about prostitute's. :) No really, I think she is a great person and love her music.

Day 5

Okay, So I know this blog is supposed to be about ME, but I am not me without my baby boy Crawford. This collage is from the day he was born. It is by far, my most favorite memory. It was a rocky start to the day, but one knocked out mama, one shake a bake handshake, and fifteen minutes later, a screaming baby boy came into this world and my life has never been the same. He is so amazing and brings so much joy to my day each and every day. I live for his little smiles, hugs, and snuggles. He is growing so fast, and each and every day, he suprises me with something new. He is God's greatest creation. This, is my favorite memory.

Day 4

A picture of my night...
Well, as soon as we walk through the door from school every day, Crawford takes of his uniform and puts on his baseball clotes and outside he goes. Could it have something to do with his pitching machine, baseball bats, gloves, balls, baseball pants, baseball helmets....maybe. He is obsessed. So, from the time we get home, until Jason gets home from the Refuge, we are on the back porch or in the front yard playing baseball. Crawford loves it, and I love that he is active instead of sitting wanting to play a video game. So, this is my night!!!

Day 3

Day 3...A picture of the cast from your favorite show

I love this show. It started with Tuesday nights with my best friend at her apartment in College Station. It was our "study nights." We would order Double Dave's pizza and settle in for some OTH. I have every season until now on DVD and hate that it is ending this year, but I even catch myself watching it when it is on Soap Net or reruns on CW. I probably equally love the Gilmore Girls, which we also alsways watched and I watch still every night, but OTH cracks me up because it reminded me of Van a little bit.

day 2

This one is suppose to be a picture of the person I have been closest with the longest...

Well, I could not choose just one of these great, wonderful people and my little Erin Kay is missing, but these are the people. I know that if I needed any one of them at any time, all it takes is a phone call. It is the Crow grandchildren in order down to Robby because EK was not able to make it that night. (This picture is from our Grandma's 70th birthday party.)
I met these either when I was born or when they were born and we have been close ever since. I love all of them so much.
#1 is Mandy and she is a little firecracker and often the life of the party. We love to laugh together and share stories of our lives from our childhood.
#2 is my big brother and the one I have been closest with the longest, Jerami. He is the first born boy and boy you better remember it. (Sorry Nat!) He is one of my hero's and is someone I know I can count on anytime, for anything.
#3 is Jewlea. She is smart and a little sassy also. She always was around when I was younger because we lived close together both in Pruitt and in Van, but she also would drive us rugrats to school every morning and only complain under her breath.
#4 is Nat. He is the teddy bear out of all of us. He is the sweetest, gentlest guy I have ever known and we had many memories together both growing up and now with our own families.
#5 is me.
#6 is one of the ones I am closest to. It is Dee Dee. We have many, many memories and make more every chance we get. She was a the one we liked to pick on because well, if you take out the E's in her name and switch it to O's, you get the picture. But, there are not many weeks that go by without me or her calling each other just to see how things are going, or we just text a simple hey.
#7 is Robby. She is another one I am closest to. Robby and I spent much of our time ganging up on Dee Dee because she was the easiest to cry. (Hey...what else are cousins good for?) Robby, Dee Dee and I traded boyfriends several times, one she dated was one of my best friends so that put us together alot. (RIP Adam!!)
#8 (not pictured) is my EK. The baby of the fabulous four girls. She is one that although I hardly ever get to see anymore, I know that when we have a conversation, we pick up where we left off last time. She was a little manipulative (but what baby of four girls is not). She is still one of my most favorite people and I miss seeing her.
So, my person(s) I have been closest to for the longest...the first 8 Crow babies. Love them all and can only hope that we stay this close forever!!

Day 1

A picture of myself with 10 facts.

I know it said a picture of me and 10 facts...but my number one fact is...
1) I love this man more than anything in the world and on this day, I was happy and felt beautiful.
2) I believe that my perfect son was a gift from a family member that had went on to Heaven...thank you so much Matthew Thomas Frank. I hope he is half the man you were.
3) I bleed maroon and white, red and white, and blue and white. (Aggies, Vandals, and Dallas Cowboys). You can take the girl outta Van, but you can't take Van outta the girl.
4) My mom is my best friend, always has been and I am pretty sure, will be forever.
5) I love my life and sometimes sit and feel sorry for people that aren't a part of it.
6) My husband jokes that my family is the "mafia of Van", I have never told him any different.
7) My hero's growing up and still are my daddy and my big brother.
8) If I could move Tennessee closer to TX, we would have stayed living in Ridgely, because those people are our family too.
9) If I could, I would eat at Olive Garden or any mexican restraunt seven days a week.
10) I love cheesy chick flicks, any disney movie and trashy reality t.v.

30 Days of Me...

Okay, so I have seen this on two of the blogs I follow and really wasn't going to do it because this blog is supposed to be about Crawford, but I figured...what the heck...my whole audience of 8 might like to read about it. (Mrs. Sherry...it's for you!!)

Finally, a Sunny Day

Lately, it has been so gloomy, too cold, dark, or raining outside and my little almost four year old boy, could not take it anymore. So, when we said our prayers last week, we asked for sunshine and higher temps for the weekend. God is so great. Prayers were answered. Yesterday, the sun was shining when we woke up. Jason was at work, but as soon as he got home, we ran for the hills. Well, actually, we went to Van to my parents little piece of heaven. Asher and Brooks came to join in the fun. (Princess Ellie was just way to busy for us.) They rode four wheelers, went fishing with Jason, chased dogs, were chased by the dogs, jumped on the trampoline, and rode the mule (Kawasaki, not donkey. It was loads of fun, much needed sun, and a relaxing time. The boys really loved getting to play together since it has been over a month without seeing each other. So, thank you God for the wonderfully sunny day you gave us yesterday.

January 10, 2011=Snow Day

Crawford was so excited...he liked it last year, but loved it this year.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!! It started snowing late in the day Sunday, and being a teacher, of course I crossed my fingers for a snow day, and late Sunday night, we found out we were having one. Sorry to all of you that had to drive to work in it, or live down in Houston and didn't get any, but we made the most of our day and played until Crawford and I could not feel our fingers anymore. Too fun! Crawford's favorite part of the day was riding his four wheeler through the snow and sliding. He was not happy today, when we had to come to school, but then again, it is only January. I am sure this crazy Texas weather will return before the spring. Hope you had a good snow day too!

It's beginning to Look alot Like Christmas-2010

Here are a few pictures from Christmas. I was terrible at picking up the camera this year to take them because I was so busy watching Crawford have the time of his life. He loved everything he got and was so excited to show it off. I could hardly take my eyes off of him long enough to snap a picture. So, hope you can forgive me and enjoy some of the good shots I do have. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
