This was Crawford's second year of soccer. Last year, we were on a team of mostly Trinity kiddos and had Trinity parents as the coaches, so we felt at home. When we went to the firt practice this year, and saw that the team was nothing like last years, I was worried. So worried, I wanted to pull him off the field and say better luck next year kiddo. Against my better judgement and a lecture from Officer Roesner, we decided to let him play. We started off the season like the Bad News Bears, but towards the end of the season, they looked like a team. Crawford scored four goals in his next to the last game and one in the last game of the season. He made new friends and never seemed to care that he was not on a team filled with Trinity kiddos. He really seems to like soccer and is pretty darn good at it (if I must say so myself), and I am sure we will be back for more next year. Now, on to basketball....yikes!!
