When Jason and I found out we were having a boy when I was pregnant with Crawford, his first words were "I can't wait for scouts!" Well, this year, Crawford (first grade) was ready for it to start. This past weekend was the Pinewood Derby. When we got the kit back in December, I pulled up Pinterest and started researching different types of cars. There are so many to choose from. There were wienermobiles, batmobiles, dill pickles, angry birds, and many more to choose from. Crawford immediately told us he wanted a police car because he wants to be like his daddy. (Who doesn't drive a police car, but it was still sweet!) He and Jason sanded it and painted it and put the stickers on and were ready to roll. He didn't place in the top three, but had a smile on his face the entire time. He told me it was okay (we all know how competitive I am) because he did it with his daddy and that was all that mattered. Jason and him have already started deciding what is going to be on next years car. He is on his way to his Tiger patch and will get it next month at the blue and gold banquet. I can't wait for his big smile and for him to get that patch and on his way to an Eagle Scout just like his daddy is. Being a mother to the two sweetest little boys ever is way too much fun. I thank God everyday for giving me these blessings and allowing me to get to spend my life with them.

Silly Boys
Cash and Crawford trying out his new scooter
Crawford at our Knights of Columbus social for church chowing on a chicken thigh
I promised more blogs and pictures to the whole 13 followers I have, here are some pics from my phone that I thought were cute. Cash received a scooter from Aunt Holly and Uncle JJ for his birthday, and he absolutely loves it; especially when his big brother pushes him on it. They played for hours on it when we got home from the party. The other pictures are Crawford at our Knights of Columbus social for January. He was getting after his chicken thigh. He normally doesn't eat at them because he is so picky, but this time, they were speaking his language. He is a chicken eating boy.

Cash's 2nd Bday Party
Grumps and Cash
For Cash's 2nd birthday we invited family and some of his friends from daycare. Unfortunately, his friends could not come, but we still had a blast with the family that was able to make it. He had Lolly and Grumps, Grammy and Poppy, Aunt Holly, Ellie, Brooks, Crawford, mommy, daddy and his sitter Mrs. Rebecca and her daughter Sarah Beth. We had a fun little photo booth set up and there was lots of running around and playing on his scooter from Uncle JJ, Aunt Holly, Ellie, Asher and Brooks. Crawford pushed him around on it and he had tons of fun. Since Cash is on a gluten free diet, he had vanilla chex and icing while everyone else enjoyed a chocolate cake and pizza. He had fun playing in the icing that he did have though. We had a great time with those that were there and Cash seemed to have fun, so that is all that matters.
A Little Bit of Christmas
Christmas 2013 has come and gone, and we are still recovering from our trek. Jason and I agreed this was our last year we were going to head out to families house and be gone from our home on Christmas/Christmas Eve. We started by heading to Van to make a quick visit and have Christmas with my family. We stayed two nights and got on the road to Jason's families in Magnolia. We had our traditional Christmas Eve and Aunt Donna's house and then to his parents for the rest of the week. Christmas Eve Christmas Mass did not go the way as planned because Mr. Cash decided he did not want to sit quietly so Jason and I ducked out a little early and left Crawford to finish with the Roesners. The boys were okay with spending the nights at the places because we reminded them Santa already knew where we would be that night. Crawford was so tired from the travelling, he went fast asleep and we were able to get things done that needed to be finished up. We then headed over to Granny Roesner's for a wonderful Christmas day where we were reminded of the true meaning of Christmas and of course had tons of food. Yummy! The boys got everything they asked for and then some. Jason and I got a new truck for each other (bought during Thanksgiving).

We're Baaaccckkkk!
I started thinking the other day that I have not blogged in forever because I always post on facebook. Well, that is not fair to my few followers I have because they may not have face book and I also don't put what I would on here on face book most of the time. So, I am going to try to make sure I get a least a post a week on here. The crazy Roesner life that is mine is anything but dull and hopefully it will put a smile on someone's face.
This school year, I made a change and am teaching Kindergarten. Same school, just different kids. I LOVE IT! I have an awesome co-teacher, awesome lunch buddies (1st grade teachers) and get to see Crawford lots throughout the day. It has been worth it. It is HARD work, but like I said, I love it.
Jason is busy being the Manager, yes, manager at Caddo Lake NWR. He was promoted in September after being the acting since January. It definitely is keeping him busy, but he loves it.
Crawford is in the first grade and loving it. His teacher is amazing and he loves his friends. He played fall baseball, which just ended and is currently in soccer. He also is in Cub Scouts. (More about that on another post.)
Cash is growing like a weed. His personality is coming out. He loves sport balls as much as his brother if not more. He is at the same sitter from last year and doing great.
Suzee and Maggie are doing what dogs do best...eat, sleep, and well...you know. They keep this house protected and the varmits out.
Lots of fun things always going on and I will try, as I said before to keep things updated more.
Until next time...

Roesner's, Roesner's...where are the Roesner's????
Yes, I know, I know....the blogging thing has kind so fallen off....but, to my defense...I upload pictures to Facebook like crazy. Of course, you don't always get a story with Facebook. I hope that in this new year, I will be better about blogging. Crawford is finishing up his first basketball season and we are on to baseball...woohoo!! Almost to the best season ever :-) I will be adding pictures soon of all of our winter things we have been doing. Cash has a big day coming up soon, a circumcision. Prayers please!!! And Craw man is reading like a champ and getting ready to start the big kid books at school.

Cash's 1st 1st Birthday Party
Since we were spending NYE 2012-13 with the Roesner/Kacal crew, we thought we would throw in a first firest birthday party for Cash so that the family that lives in and around Houston could help us celebrate. We decided to do it NYE so that we could have two parties in one. It turned out to be loads of fun and lots of family time that we all enjoyed. People came and went through the night and Cash cleaned up pretty well in the present department. With a birthday being so close to Christmas, I had my doubts, but it ended up great. Here are a few from the night. '
Uncle Daniel and Aunt Katy ordered the cake for the party. We had a barnyard theme. The cake was wonderful!! Thanks Uncle D and Aunt Katy
Cash was not really digging the piggy hat that went along with his barnyard party. He kept pulling it off!!
